This year’s edition of the Pepc Foundation’s ‘Love Beyond Christmas‘, which is a special edition, will be dedicated to the memory of late Alhaji Kolawole Saheed Akinsanya (Baba Pepc), an incorruptible police officer, foremost community and sports developer and safety ambassador.
Late Alhaji Akinsanya, father of the founder of Pepc Foundation, Barr Luqman Akinsanya, died on Sunday, August 18, 2024.
For this year’s edition, the foundation is targeting 20, 000 elderly persons, widows, single mothers, and vulnerable families, at an event which will feature a novelty match at the Ikorodu Police Barracks Playing Ground along the Oba Molaja Ogunlewe Road (Igbogbo Road), Ikorodu, on Friday, December 20, 2024.
In a statement signed by its founder, PEPC Foundation, announcing the special edition, said:
“Love Beyond Christmas with the Project 20,000. This year, it’s a special edition in the loving memory of late Alhaji Kolawole Saheed Akinsanya….An incorruptible Officer, foremost grassroots developer & Safety Ambassador.
“We are committed to reaching 20,000 elders, widows, single mothers, and vulnerable families within Lagos State. Each recipient will receive a special love box packed with variety of food items.
“We understand that the season is all about giving, and even beyond Christmas, PEPC Foundation is committed to making a difference!
“May Alhaji Kolawole Saheed Akinsanya soul continue to rest in peace. Amen”, he said.
Distribution of the ‘Love Beyond Xmas’ packages continues at other various locations across the state after the kick – off at the police barracks in Ikorodu on Friday.
